New Day, New Weej

Tuesday, Feb 20th. A great three day weekend is over, but it was sure nice while it lasted. I hope the students come back ready to learn. They have so much potential with a little help from the teachers. Hopefully, they will grab on to the opportunities provided to them today and in the future.

New day

Anything worth doing takes effort. If you want to succeed, you need to do your part. Standing back will not do it. Step up to the plate.

Why are there days when you try to get work done, and nothing gets accomplised??? I so want to get my girls registered for this great experience in April. However, the online site is crashed. I worry that the girls will not make it to the conference. It would be a loss for them. We need more girls in the math and sciences and more boys in the teaching field. When an opportunity arises like this, my frustration builds when students are denied the opportunity because of a glitch in the system.

I have a feeling that I will really like blogging. I am looking foward to blogging with my AVID students. I know how much they enjoy interacting with the internet; thus they will take to blogging. My goal for my own growth is to learn about podcasting. Thanks to Mason for all his patient help.
