When you get older, some kids do think it is cool to smoke. They don't realize how hard it is to quit. And, eventually everyone WANTS to quit. It can kill you, age you, make you stink, but when you are young, you think you are invincible. I guarantee that someone you know is smoking and wanting you to start. Again, you are in control of yourself. Don't give your control over to others. My bad for preaching.

i think that they smoke because it is adictive and they cant stop

Some people do it to be skinny.
They do it to get out of social problems such as if someone broke up with them they think it will take away the pain
They smoke because they think that it will help them fit in, but in the long run it ruins there life and they can't stop
